Ethel is a beautiful, 7 year old pure bred ShihTzu. Ethel came to Healing Hearts last year with her siblings from a breeder. After she arrived, she was having urinary problems which was followed up with an ultrasound. The vet thought he saw a mass and diagnosed her with bladder cancer. She was put on medication and a special urinary diet. Ethel has gone for regular check ups and ultrasounds and during her last visit on April 1, there were no signs of a tumor. The vet is now questioning whether or not Ethel had cancer or if it was something else, and he has cleared her for adoption. Ethel is a quiet little dog, house trained, gets along well with other dogs and children ages 8 and up. Her foster mom can't say enough nice things about her. Ethel weighs approx. 13 lbs.
