Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Adult
Tommy is a lovable approximately 3-4 year old boy, about 25 lbs who gets along well with other dogs and has several weeks of obedience training! Tommy walks well on a leash, is housetrained, and is a calm but playful dog with a timid side who greets those he loves with a wagging tail. He can be reserved with strangers but doesn't take long to warm up to them, especially women. He does seem to prefer women over men and enjoys meeting new dogs. He likes to be by your side, getting his head scratched, or hang out in his dog bed when you need your space. He also likes to go for walks and play in the backyard with his foster dog siblings. He does need either someone home or with him most of the day OR another doggie playmate in his forever home to continue to aid in the growth of his confidence.
