These little love bugs are playful, affectionate, and so very easy to take care of. They wake up in the morning wagging their tails, and go right to the door to happily wait for their leashes and a walk outside. They walk great on the leash! Muffin (the darker one) seems to be a bit afraid of loud motors, like motorcycles and lawnmowers, so we try to avoid going towards those. After their walk, they come in and play with their toys, then eat a little, then curl up on the couch for a long nap. We have been walking them every four hours, since we don’t have a fenced yard, and that schedule works well for them. However, they are crate trained so you could leave them in crate if going out for longer. They have never had an accident in the house. I’m very impressed!
After a long day of playing, walks, and the occasional car ride, they curl up together in the crate and sleep through the night without a peep. Mostly, they just want to hang out with you and cuddle – and see what treats you might have in the kitchen, of course!
Muffin and Cookie love to jump up on the couch and wag their tails when you walk by, trying to get pets and kisses from you. Cookie is the leader of the two, and Muffin seems to take her cues from Cookie – even waiting until Cookie does her “business” first before she goes!
They love people, and they are fine around other dogs as long as they keep their distance at first. They’d probably be best as the only dogs in the home, however, they warmed up to my dog after 2 days.
If you take these little treasures home, they will reward with lots of kisses, wags, and entertainment. They are delightful, sweet and so easy to have around. No muss, no fuss!
