Snuggles is about 11 years old and settling in beautifully and we’d love to find him a peaceful retirement forever home. Snuggles has clearly been through a lot, as his owner passed away and wasn’t found for almost 2 weeks, leaving Snuggles close to death.  He is now ready for the soft, safe life he deserves—with someone patient, gentle, and kind.

Here’s what we’ve learned about him so far:
 • He’s got delightfully wild hair that gives him tons of character.
 • He’s quiet, shy, and takes a little time to warm up—but he’s so worth it.
 • He gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a calm, low-key home.
 • He may seem a little aloof at first, but once he’s in your arms, he melts.

Snuggles would thrive in a home where he can get some one-on-one attention and feel safe enough to open up fully. He doesn’t ask for much—just a comfy bed, gentle affection, and a human who understands that trust takes time.  Snuggles has a mild heart murmur, but blood work is normal and ovetall seems healthy.
