Shih Tzu / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed : : Female
Lady is a 7 pound, 4 year old Maltese-Poodle mix. She was surrendered by her previous owner who could no longer care for her. She is a very sweet girl who loves to curl up on your lap and give you kisses right on the mouth. She is a very polite little girl, but she is such a lap dog that she tries to jump up on your lap even at meal times. She loves to go on walks. She would do best with a fenced yard where she can be let out often since her little bladder doesn’t hold out for long periods of time. Lady is housebroken. Her foster mom is home during the day and lets the dogs outside every few hours, so there have been no accidents. Lady sleeps through the night in mom’s bedroom and has no accidents. She gets along great with other dogs and loves all people. She loves to hang out with you on the sofa or in bed, and also loves to play with her toys - tug of war being her favorite. (Be patient and give her at least 48 hours to acclimate to her new home. She may vomit or have accidents at first due to the stress of a new place, as is normal with most adopted dogs.)
