Adorable, spunky little dog will steal your heart with his puppy eyes, fluffy hair and button nose! Shaggy is a young and playful, happy Border Terrier dog who just wants a human to call his own. He loves to give kisses.  He is very loyal and he will not leave your side – or your lap…   He will simply adore you! Once Shaggy decides you are his human, he will love you and protect you forever. He does not share well with others, so his ideal family is a couple (no young children) or single person who can enjoy his company to the fullest. With proper introduction, he gets along with other dogs, but prefers to be the main center of attention. Since he was neutered recently, he still has some urges to mark, but we are working on that and he is happy to go outside if given a chance.  Shaggy is very low maintenance, he loves to walk on a leash outside, but he is also happy just playing with his toys by himself - the cutest thing ever!!!

Shaggy would do best as an only dog or with a submissive female.  He would also do better with older children

PLEASE NOTE:   HHARG does not have a shelter or other physical location. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes.
